Why does it matter? As an independent artist, building a newsletter list helps me tremendously. Booking agents and publishers look at follower counts and newsletter subscribers as a way to assess whether they want to book a particular artist or publish a certain author. Subscribing to my newsletter and giving my Instagram or YouTube a follow helps me present a compelling case — and it keeps you in the loop of what I'm up to. If you add your city, you'll be the first to know if I'm coming to a place near you.
The newsletter is managed through Kit.com (formerly ConvertKit). Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time.
Event registration data is kept for the duration needed to fulfill the booking and for financial administration purposes (up to 7 years, as required by Dutch tax law). Newsletter subscriber data is kept until you unsubscribe.
